‘NIBS data analysis structure’ (NIBS-DAS)
NIBS-DAS is a template pipeline for the layout and management of NIBS data to facilitate data sharing and statistical analysis.
There is a lack of consensus about how investigators should format and manage their NIBS data for sharing and analysis. This presents a barrier to the advancement of big data analyses on the Big NIBS data platform because it requires time consuming operations to create consistent data formats across different shared datasets. NIBS-DAS addresses this problem by creating a template data pipeline.
The primary purpose of NIBS-DAS is to provide a template for the Big NIBS data platform. However, the principles, template datasets, and example analyses can be freely adopted by researchers for their own research projects.
Our publication describing NIBS-DAS is currently in preparation. A link will be provided here once the pre-print is published.
The beta version of the NIBS-DAS files and documentation can be found on our GitHub page. Updates will be posted to GitHub as they occur.
