Big NIBS data was created by  Daniel Corp,  Hannah Bereznicki,  Gillian Clark,  Michael Barham,  Alvaro Pascual-Leone, and  Peter Enticott. The platform is currently co-managed by Daniel Corp and Michael Barham.

Big NIBS data was originally created as the ‘Big TMS Data Collaboration’ in 2020, a data sharing initiative involving over 100 international researchers and a mailing list. The generous sharing of data resulted in our two initial studies of ‘large-scale’ analyses in theta-burst (Corp et al., 2020) and single/paired pulse TMS (Corp et al., 2021) data. In 2023, we collaborated with Deakin University, Australia to build a public repository and data sharing pipeline, which was re-launched as Big NIBS data in 2024.
